Diana Saca has over 17 years of experience in representing
both privately held and publicly traded high technology,
real estate, retail, and entertainment clients. Diana
has served as outside General Counsel to many of her high
technology start-up clients and has advised them through
all aspects of formation, funding, intellectual property
protection, securities regulation, licensing, employment
issues and general business structure and strategy. Diana
has extensive experience in negotiating, drafting and
enforcing asset and/or stock purchase agreements, financing
(equity and debt) agreements, licensing agreements, manufacturing
and services agreements, leases, employment agreements,
real estate purchase agreements, strategic partnerships
and other standard or complex business contracts. From
2000 to the present, on behalf of her client’s,
Diana has negotiated and closed over $5 Billion worth
of business contracts with Fortune 100 companies, including
but not limited to Microsoft, IBM, Manpower, Fidelity,
CalPERS, Intel, KLA, InVision, Emcor, Bax Global, and
others. Diana is Senior Vice President and General Counsel
for Saca Development and is a significant real estate
developer and private-equity investor herself.
Diana was
an associate with the San Jose law firm of Ferrari, Alvarez,
Olsen & Ottoboni until 1993. In 1993, Diana became
a founding partner of the Silicon Valley law firm, Hagan,
Saca & Ryan. In 2000, Diana left the firm and became
a founding partner of EnterVentures, a high-technology
start-up accelerator, while still maintaining her own
independent law practice. Diana now serves as outside
counsel for many domestic and international technology
companies in the semi-conductor and manufacturing industry,
and provides business and legal consulting services to
many Bay Area start-ups.
Diana
holds degrees in Political Science and Administration
of Justice. She completed certification with the Hong
Kong International & Comparative Law Institute and
obtained her law degree from Santa Clara University School
of Law, where she was a member and Associate Editor of
the Santa Clara Law Review. Diana is admitted to the California
Bar Association, and is also admitted to practice law
before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and Federal
Courts in the Northern District of California. She is
also a member of the International Council of Shopping
Centers (ICSC).
